Description

The Texas Shakespeare Festival, a non-Equity summer repertory, is auditioning for the 23rd season and its Beijing, China Tour in Chicago November 29 – December 1 and in Milwaukee, December 3 and 4. Two one-minute Shakespearean monologues and sixteen bars of an appropriate song are required. Casting 18 male and 3 female actor/singers (all actors cast in three of the four shows) of various ages, for Julius Caesar, Twelfth Night, Royal Hunt of the Sun, and 1776. Contracts run from May 25 through August 26 and includes the 17-day Beijing tour. Salary: $350 per week; 11 meals each week; dorm housing; $350 travel. China trip includes $1000 additional salary; double occupancy housing with western facilities; meal per diem and airfare.
