QUALITY built heavy duty FIREWOOD RACK constructed of Pressure-Treated Wood to last a lifetime. All bolts and hardware are galvanized, and all screws are triple-coated deck screws. The galvanized and vinyl coated cable that spans the top of the unit adds structure and allows for a tarp to be draped over the unit to keep the wood free of snow or rain. Each of the horizontal surfaces are beveled at five degrees to shed water, preventing premature decay. The appealing wooden design does not rust and blends in well in any yard unlike many metal racks. After a season, the pressure-treated wood will lose its green tint and turn a darker brown. They can then be coated with a deck stain or left to weather on their own.


The proven design is my own and I make each one by hand. I made three of these units eight years ago when I purchased my home and they are still in heavy use with no signs of deterioration (photos available upon request). My original units were even longer at ten feet so I know the eight foot ones are even stronger. I have stacked wood over the tops of the cables without problems. I expect them to last at least another ten years. In fact, if you ever have a problem with them, I will return and remedy the situation at my expense.
